they'll tell you their story.

Each witch lives in a real house, painted by hand, and tells their story in their own voice. Open the map, tap a house, press play. A few minutes each, and every one a small strange, warm piece of a bigger world.
If you're in San Francisco, let the app use your location and go find them. Stand on the block and the story starts on its own. Collect them all.

Author of The Veiled Flame series. This project started as micro-stories I posted on Instagram. I'd wander San Francisco looking for magic in the cracks between the old Victorians, take a picture of a house, and write about the witch I thought lived there. The stories kept growing, and eventually, the witches wanted their houses back.
